Wole Soyinka, Nigerian poet, novelist, playwright and essayist, was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1986. After giving the 2014 Loyola Marymount Graduate Commencement keynote speech, he addressed the ongoing crisis in Nigeria involving kidnapped schoolgirls.
