
The Telly Awards, the annual showcase for the best work within television and across video, recognized a bevy of Loyola Marymount University creative collaborations for their standout achievements. Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world.
Garnering gold-level awards were the “Ignite a Brighter World” video in the DEI/Social Media category; our Christmas film, “A Chain Reaction,” featuring music by President Timothy Law Snyder, Ph.D., in the Use of Music category and also gold in the Educational Institution category; “The Littlest Lions” in the Use of Comedy category; and a student production, “Jalopy,” in the Non-Broadcast category.
A Silver-level award was given to “Crash Course: Bad Bunny” in the Educational Institution/Social Video category.
Founded in 1979 to honor local, regional and cable television commercials, with non-broadcast video and television programming added soon after, the Telly Awards now honor digital video to include branded content, documentary, social media, immersive and more. The organization receives more than 12,000 entries globally from six continents and all 50 United States,
