Kyle Laffey (Production – B.A. ’14), who took his 300 senior thesis film to the 2014 Court Métrage–otherwise known as the Cannes Short Film Corner, now has a chance to show the rest of the world his talent. Laffey’s film Fairytale was picked up by Indieflix for a distribution deal on several online platforms including Hulu, Xbox, iTunes, Amazon, and more! The cast/crew were almost entirely LMU SFTV students, some of whom are still in school. Written by Justin Small (Screenwriting – B.A. ‘14), Fairytale tells the story of two medieval knights who engage in an epic sword battle for the beautiful princess Priscilla, but all is not as it seems in their magic world.
Other SFTV crew members included: Michael De La Torre (Production – B.A. ‘14), Arden Tse (Production – B.A. ‘13) and Siena Oberman (Production – B.A. ‘16, Business Management – B.S. ’16).
Congratulations to everyone involved!
