Senior entrepreneurship major Michael Costello, in partnership with Professor Elissa Grossman, helped organize a group trip for 15 entrepreneurship students to Pasadena-based Idealab this semester. The group was welcomed with talks from Idealab Founder and CEO Bill Gross, CFO Craig Chrisney and Chief Product Officer Tom Ngo. They also heard from key leaders of two Idealab portfolio companies — Aaron Fyke, CEO of Energy Cache, and Steve Walker, COO of Perfect Market, Inc. Harry Lin, CEO/Founder of Help Wanted Now, another portfolio company, took the group on a tour of Idealab’s incredibly cool office space. Other attending LMU faculty included Dr. Renee Florsheim and Dr. David Choi.
