Chris Sullivan ’02, theatre arts alumni and actor on the hit NBC drama This is Us, came to campus in September for an intimate Q&A and meet and greet with students. He sat down for a chat with Kevin Wetmore, chair and professor of theatre arts, as part of CFA’s “Conversations With” series. He discussed his career trajectory from the bluff to Hollywood, even demonstrating for the delighted crowd what it takes to star as Taserface in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Chris is an actor and musician, currently starring as Toby on This Is Us. He first gained attention for his portrayal of Tom Cleary on the Cinemax drama The Knick. He also played Taserface in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Benny Hammond in Stranger Things.
