LOS ANGELES, April 24, 2009 – The part-time MBA program at Loyola Marymount University’s College of Business Administration (CBA) is again ranked among the nation’s best according to the annual survey “America’s Best Graduate Schools” by U.S. News & World Report.
LMU’s program is ranked #12 this year. It was ranked #23 out of 30 two years ago and jumped to #14 last year.
Two other CBA strengths were noted in the survey; the MBA Entrepreneurship emphasis and the MBA Accounting emphasis were ranked #21 and #29 in those categories.
“This is an exciting time for the College of Business Administration and to once again be recognized is proof that the quality of our MBA program continues to rise,” said Dennis Draper, dean of the college. “We take pride in our national standing and are focused on maintaining our reputation for academic excellence as it recognizes the tremendous effort of our faculty and the dedication of our students.”
Each year U.S. News & World Report ranks business schools in several categories based on a combination of statistical data, surveys of business school deans, and assessments by MBA recruiters. A total of 426 accredited master’s degree programs were included in this year’s survey.
CBA offers undergraduate, MBA and Executive MBA degree programs, as well as a variety of executive education offerings.
