LMU’s College of Business Administration maintained a strong presence in U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of “Best Colleges.” The college was ranked in the top 25% of all undergraduate business programs in the nation – landing in the #93 spot, a slight improvement from last year’s ranking of #101. The accounting program was ranked #31 while the marketing program came in at #26 in the nation. The entrepreneurship program entered the rankings at #23 – tied with Carnegie Mellon and John Carroll University. Overall, LMU kept its #3 ranking among best regional universities in the west – tied with Gonzaga.
“It’s great to see the College of Business Administration continue to have such a strong presence in these national rankings,” said Dennis Draper, dean at the College of Business Administration. “This recognition is a testament to our outstanding faculty, innovative curriculum, quality students and dedication to the advancement of business education.”
This year’s 30th edition of “Best Colleges” includes data on nearly 1,800 colleges and universities. Eligible schools are ranked on up to 16 measures of academic excellence, including graduation rates, selectivity and freshmen retention, to help families compare schools, narrow their searches and make informed decisions.
