Building Impact – Major Gift Highlights

The School of Education is on its way to meeting its goal of $20 million as LMU is poised to close its Capital Campaign on May 31, 2012. Recent major gifts and grants supporting high impact programs in our region include: a $500,000 grant from the Ahmanson Foundation, a $250,000 grant from the Cotsen Foundation for the Art of Teaching, a gift of $50,000 from the Playa Capital Company and a grant of $39,579 from the K&F Baxter Family Foundation. This generous support maximizes the SOE’s ability to develop a new generation of leaders – individuals who, with proper support, are prepared to transform PreK-12 education.
