Congratulations to all of the LMU alumni working on Norman Lear‘s reboot of One Day at a Time, which will be premiering on Netflix in January of next year, according to Vulture.
The reimagining of the classic show features a Cuban-American, newly single mom raising her teen daughter and tween son with the “help” of her old school mom, and will be crewed by showrunner LMU alum and SFTV instructor Gloria Kellett (Communication Arts ’97), along with writers Michelle Badillo (SCRW ’13) and Caroline Levich (SCRW ’14), writer’s PA Suehee Chang (WPTV ’15) and production assistant Bernard Badion (WPTV ’15).
