Dear Seaver Students,
In these uncertain times it’s easy to fall out of touch with friends and family we can’t see with the same regularity. It can make you feel down and make these days drag longer. Make it a point to stay connected. Whether it’s a simple call or text, a zoom call with family and friends, or even a socially distanced parking lot hangout communicating, catching up, and most importantly laughing with those who are important to you is crucial to get us all through this difficult time.
Anecdotally I can attest to this. A few weeks ago I was getting a little down about not seeing or interacting with many others. Then over a couple weekend days my extended family planned a zoom call and I met friends in a big (more than six feet apart) circle in a city park parking lot for a drink and some laughs. I noticed my mood and productivity in life and work drastically improved the following week as I was in a much better mood.
Let’s all get through this together!
