Welcome to the fourth issue of Edvision. I hope that you have been enjoying the LMU School of Education’s new way to share stories and events with our alumni, partners, supporters and colleagues.
As we enter the final months of the university’s capital campaign, I am very excited about our momentum and impact – we advanced again in the U.S. News rankings, we inaugurated our first endowed professor, our faculty has often been quoted in the media and our programs continue to celebrate milestones. Through our people and programs, we are truly making a difference in the lives of youth and impacting the field of education.
In order to ensure the continued success of our programs and to provide our students with every opportunity to become true agents of change, I ask for your support. With your help our students can move forward as catalysts creating a better future for this generation and the next. Please know that gifts of all sizes have a tremendous impact on our work and help us sustain the distinctive form of excellence in theory and practice for which we are widely known. Please give today.
Edvision offers an opportunity to remain connected to the School of Education, our community of educators and the field. As you read this issue, please know that Edvision is always looking for new and exciting stories, so please let us know what you’re up to by contacting us at edvision@lmu.edu.
