The planned Life Sciences Building will enhance the interdisciplinary teaching and research that modern science compels and at which Loyola Marymount University excels. The 103,000-square-foot building will give LMU undergraduates in the Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering experience in sophisticated research across the departments of Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Natural Science. Since the present science hall was built, the number of undergraduates majoring in science has tripled.
