
Five SFTV alumni-lead projects will receive mentorship and $10k in funding
In partnership with Village Roadshow Entertainment Group, LMU’s School of Film and Television (SFTV) is excited to announce the participants for the 2020 Emerging Talent Lab. The lab gives select graduating students and recent SFTV alumni a bridge to the media and entertainment industry and to help them move their creative projects forward in a concrete and significant way.

When two estranged sisters come together to help their financially-flailing parents, they are forced to confront the old wounds that have festered and kept them divided for years.
Participants in the Emerging Talent Lab will work closely with Village Roadshow creative executives to create short films to be used as calling cards on the film festival circuit and for other professional opportunities. Film teams will receive $10,000 and have regular group meetings with Village Roadshow to receive mentorship and guidance on their projects. Check out the 2019 participants here.
