
Classical guitarists will entertain visitors and offer workshops and coaching during the 13th annual Guitar Festival March 24-26 at Loyola Marymount University.
The festival begins at 8 p.m. Friday, March 24, with a concert by classical guitarists Zoran Dukic of Croatia and Pavel Steidl of the Netherlands. On Saturday and Sunday, guests will enjoy performances by Thomas Fellows and Reentko Dirks, European Guitar Quartet, and a young artists showcase.
Additional events include technique workshops, ensemble coachings, a European Guitar Quartet master class and weekend-long vendor and luthier fair. All performances will take place in Murphy Recital Hall.
The festival is presented by the Department of Music in LMU’s College of Communication and Fine Arts.
