Faculty Pub Night, a library-sponsored event created in 2010, will be held at the William H. Hannon Library in person throughout the 2021-22 academic year. The signature series brings together faculty with the LMU community in a relaxed, casual environment to present, discuss, and answer questions about faculty’s most recent “pub”-lications, ranging from research to creative work.
This year three SOE faculty members will be participating:
- On Tuesday, September 14, assistant professor Joy Ee will be speaking with her co-author Patricia Gandara of UCLA about their upcoming publication, Schools Under Siege: The Impact of Immigration Enforcement of Educational Equity. Click here for more information and registration.
- On Tuesday, November 9, clinical associate professor Rebecca Stephenson and educational leadership professor and Director of the LMU Center for Teaching Excellence Karen Huchting will together discuss their recent publication, “Teaching in Troubling Times: The Effects of Political Climate in Classrooms.” Click here for more information and registration.
All Faculty Pub Nights are free and open to the public. For more details and a full speaker line-up, click here.
