The LMU community is invited to attend the 2023 spring Hidden Hero Recognition. The virtual celebration takes place Sunday, March 26, at 2 p.m. PDT. The Sisters of St. Joseph strive to be courageous, compassionate and a transforming presence in this world, much like the hidden heroes annually recognized by the CSJ Center for Reconciliation and Justice. This year, the CSJ will host a second virtual recognition to honor the numerous heroes among us. The hidden heroes are: Hania Ahmar, cofounder of the Ahmar Family foundation; Jesus “Paco” Estrada ’04, undergraduate student; Amir Hussian, professor and chair of Theological Studies; Lisa Jackson, director of Special Events; and Bradley Smith, director of student addiction, recovery and prevention.
