In preparation for the launch of Workday Learning we are conducting a comprehensive campus-wide inventory of online and in-person trainings offered by various departments. Trainings offered include compliance training, university-wide training initiatives, departmental specific trainings, trainings offered for unique populations of faculty or staff, and others.
Phase 1 of the project is to configure and roll-out Workday Learning for Human Resources. Phase 2 will be to work with departments to set up unit-level offerings in Workday Learning. Departmental use of Workday will be 100% managed by the department; thus, allowing for flexibility, monitoring of compliance, and ease of reporting. When fully implemented, staff will be able to see in Workday what LMU trainings have been assigned and completed. Managers will be able to monitor in Workday completion rates for assigned trainings, use as a reference when evaluating direct reports, and create reports. We have sent the survey to those known training coordinators in various departments, but also encourage you to share the survey with staff (or faculty) that benefit from participation in Workday Learning. If you have questions, please reach out to Dustin Reece, Director of Learning and Development, at dreece@lmu.edu.
