Workday Forward, the university’s multi-year initiative to continually enhance the LMU Workday experience, shared its first project update since launching this spring. The initiative also revealed a quarterly communications plan, pledging to share regular updates with the larger community every three months.
The spring 2023 project updates included such highlights as:
- 19 listening sessions were held, with 146 staff and faculty from across LMU participating. Feedback gained will serve as the project’s guiding light to identify and prioritize improvements.
- Workday Forward action plan is two-fold, including “quick wins” and longer-term improvements.
- Spring 2023 system additions included: new budget reporting features, new notification alerts for student workers and their supervisors, automated calculation feature for retiree insurance.
- Upcoming summer 2023 improvements include: redesigning the grant management module, implementing Workday Prism to replace legacy financial reporting, enabling long-range budget planning, expanding training offerings to include new topics and formats.
Quarterly project updates will be shared both in LMU This Week and on the dedicated website found at lmu.edu/workday. You can read the full spring 2023 quarterly update here.
