As part of its regularly scheduled software updates, Workday will release new changes and improvements to the LMU community on Saturday, March 9. The full list of features is itemized below.
- Workday Home dashboard: to enhance the user experience, the Announcements section will be relocated to the top of the home page, making important information more visible to the user.
- New “Benefits and Pay Hub”: this new hub will provide a single location for users to review benefits, payroll, and compensation information, and access related tasks and reports. Previously located in separate tabs, the new singular location will help users more efficiently view and update benefit elections and dependents, review and add voluntary deductions, update tax elections based on available pay slips, and more. The new hub can be accessed from the main dropdown menu.
- New “Jobs Hub”: replacing the Careers tab, the new “Jobs Hub” feature streamlines all job-related activity in one location. Users will be able to browse jobs, create job alerts, and manage job applications from one place. The new hub will be located in the Application menu.
- “Connect to Supplier Website” now provides the option for greater transparency into purchasing status: A new button will now appear at the bottom of the “Connect to Supplier Website” screen, labeled “Try New Experience.” Users selecting this button will add additional features to create and follow their purchase requisitions. Please note, the purchasing experience will remain unchanged for any users opting not to select this optional button.
