As LMU starts the fall 2025 semester, University Events is excited to share a few important updates with the campus community.
Blackout Dates
Please note the following event blackout dates for the academic year:
- Alumni BBQ, Sept. 26-28, 2025
- Family Weekend, Oct. 23-26, 2025
- Presidential Inauguration, Dec. 6-9, 2025
- Campaign Kickoff, Feb. 16-23, 2026
- Finals + Commencement events, May 11-18, 2026

Calendar Opens
The event calendar for fall 2026 and spring 2027 will open on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025. If you have a priority booking, you’ll receive a separate email with more information.
The summer 2026 calendar will open in Feb. 2026. We will share more details when the date gets closer.
Classroom Policy
During the first two weeks of the semester, classrooms are only available:
- After 10 p.m. on weekdays
- All day on Saturdays and Sundays
