The Center for Ignatian Spirituality is offering two opportunities for faculty and staff, that will enhance their relationships with one another and with God.
On March 1, 2023, at noon the center will host their annual Lenten Luncheon, which includes conversations with colleagues and a brief Inter-faith reflection and prayer service. Register here to join the Lenten Luncheon.
The center is also offering on-going, small faith-sharing groups in person and via Zoom starting Tuesday, Feb. 28, and ending March 28 during the lunch hour. To register for in-person or Zoom faith sharing groups click here.
“We like to do anything that encourages and supports people to take a deep breath, rather than to just do,” said Randy Roche, S.J. “When people relate with one another in a trusting environment, it becomes a spiritual connection and they get outside of themselves. In this human experience you know that you are loved, and that you are also capable of caring.”
The conversations will be led by Father Roche, Thomas Carroll, S.J., and Elsy Arévalo. There is an option to join a group that will be in Spanish. “This opportunity is open to all people who are looking for something that will satisfy their hearts, and that they are willing to enter into a small group talk about it,” said Father Roche. “It’s really about basic human experience.”
If you would like to participate in the Lenten series in Spanish, please contact Elsy Arévalo at Elsy.Arevalo@lmu.edu or 310.338.7758 (Ext. 87758).
