LMU Campus Business Operations (CBO) is moving to a new campus credential system that will bring changes to the CBO OneCard office, including updated card designs that better align with LMU visual identity standards and offer new mobile options, starting May 10, 2024.
- New Designs: With the purchase of all new printers, standard LMU OneCards will have white text for a clean new look against the blue background. LMU department-sponsored affiliates will see a different design from the standard, that better reflects their association with certain programs. Alumni and Gold Retirees will receive an updated Crimson Card that better reflects their “forever status” with the university. It is important to note that you do not need to update your existing card as a result of this change, as the card technology remains the same so your access to accounts or doors will not be affected.
- New Ways to Add Money: “Cash to Flexi-Dollar” machines will be refreshed throughout campus this summer, updating the current “AMC/VTS machines” where cardholders can use cash to reload Flexi-Dollars (and S-Dollars where eligible) onto their cards. Machine locations will be updated on the Interactive Campus Map, when available. A new online portal, called “LionWallet”, will replace the existing “eAccts” portal for using credit cards to add funds to Flexi-Dollars (and S-Dollars where eligible). “LionWallet” will become the new hub for adding funds, checking balances, reporting lost/stolen cards, and uploading the first LMU OneCard photo for any student, faculty, or staff member who is new to the university.
- New Virtual OneCards: Moving into more mobile-friendly technology, LMU OneCards will also be available as a virtual ID, providing cardholders mobile access to their LION-Cash, S-Dollars, and Flexi-Dollars.
- Stay tuned for more updates including proposed outages starting the week of May 6, as we begin to transition over to the new system by May 10.
Please Note: As a result of this project, the OneCard office has depleted their pre-printed blue stock cards, so anyone needing an LMU OneCard before May 10 will receive a plain, white-background card as a temporary design. The functionality of the cards remains unchanged, so access to doors and stored value accounts will not be impacted. New designs will begin after May 10.
The CBO OneCard office is pleased to bring these enhancements to the campus community starting May 10, with new features for the modern, digital era. For any questions, please email onecard@lmu.edu.
