With courses available at an accelerated pace across two convenient six-week sessions, students can choose from over 400 options offered in online, in-person, and hybrid formats. This flexibility empowers students to design a summer schedule that aligns with their personal and academic goals.
“Summer courses provide students with a valuable opportunity to advance their studies or fulfill major and core requirements,” said university registrar Jennifer Silverman, Ph.D. “This flexibility can make a significant difference in their LMU experience.”
Eligible students may qualify for financial aid to help offset summer attendance costs. In addition to grants and loans, the LMU Summer Grant is available to current undergraduate students enrolled in six or more credits during either summer session.
Interested students must submit a Summer Financial Aid Application by the priority deadline of April 1, 2025.
The summer session provides numerous benefits, including small class sizes and hands-on learning experiences. The abbreviated time frame also allows students to pursue non-academic interests, such as internships, part-time work, service projects, or simply enjoying their break.
