Loyola Marymount University President Timothy Law Snyder, Ph.D., joined 29 other presidents of Jesuit colleges and universities in extending support to the Jesuits, faculty, students, and staff of the University of Central America (UCA) who have been falsely accused by the Nicaraguan government of violations of the law.
Their statement in solidarity with UCA, a sister Jesuit institution in Managua, calls on the government to reverse its decisions and cease its repression of UCA and those who are advocating for a public dialogue regarding the nation’s future. Read the statement.
