UNIVERSITY NEWS | The search for LMU’s next CFO is resuming, picking up where the university left off last spring in anticipation of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Tom Fleming’s previously announced retirement date of May 31, 2020. LMU began a search for the next CFO and was still active in that search when the pandemic began last March. SVP Fleming graciously agreed to postpone his retirement date and the search for his replacement was officially paused. During the past several months, SVP Fleming and the Finance Division team have been instrumental in helping our institution remain financially secure.
The university expects to announce the appointment of our next CFO later this spring with an anticipated transition for that role by June 1, 2021.
