
LMU faculty and staff who are interested in administering surveys on campus should note that completion of LMU’s survey administration training is required. The procedures outlined in the training aim to maximize the benefits of all university surveys by: minimizing possible survey fatigue; avoiding the collection of duplicate information; and encouraging the sharing of survey results with the campus community. Faculty and staff who wish to administer surveys on campus are encouraged to use LMU’s official survey software, Qualtrics. If the proposed survey is expected to collect over 100 responses, email surveys@lmu.edu to request LMU’s survey exception form. If members of the campus community will be surveyed, please allow up to two weeks for the form to be processed. Once the request is received, the Office of Institutional Research and Decision Support staff will assist in obtaining the appropriate approvals.
