The Information Security Team has seen a rise in phishing emails and compromised passwords, leading to an increase in unexpected Duo push or call authentication requests.
If you are not logging onto an LMU system (email, MyLMU, Workday, etc.) and you receive a Duo push or Phone call:
- Do not accept the request and report it as a suspicious login.
- Immediately change your password.
- Contact the Service Desk by calling 310.338.7777 or emailing servicedesk@lmu.edu.
If you accidentally approved one of these requests, call (310.338.7777) or email the help desk right away at servicedesk@lmu.edu. Reporting it helps us protect your data.
