Permanent fencing has recently been installed adjacent to the Lincoln Boulevard entrance to the Westchester Campus, as part of larger efforts to streamline entry and exit points across campus. The new fence replaces bike racks that had served as temporary fencing.
A grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funded the purchase and installation, as part of the California Office of Emergency Services’ support for campus preparedness and hazard mitigation. The second part of the project will be completed in fall 2024, with OneCard tap panels installed for pedestrians entering campus via Lincoln Boulevard.
