Join the LMU Children’s Center on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 7:30 – 9 p.m. as they welcome Dr. Greer Kirshenbaum for their monthly Virtual Parent Engagement Talk.
Dr. Kirshenbaum will be discussing brain development in young children, from infancy to 5 years of age. All LMU community members are welcome, and can join via Zoom link.
Dr. Kirshenbaum is a neuroscientist, doula, and educator who empowers nurtured parenting, and disrupts modern parenting practices to begin new cycles of intergenerational wellness. She spent over 15 years in academic neuroscience laboratories, studying how genetics and experience shape the brain, nervous system, and body to influence lifelong mental and physical health. Her mission is to teach the science and support the art of nurturing infants, so families can use sound science to enhance every single day of their children’s lives.
