Imagine a village devoted to literature of all kinds.
Now, imagine yourself playing a role in that village.
Such a place is created every year on the USC campus when the L.A. Times Festival of Books puts up its tents and gathers 300 vendors, dozens of panelists and speakers, and creates for two days the country’s largest book festival.
Your part in the spectacle? Festival organizers contacted LMU about finding volunteers to help make the event as visitor friendly as possible. Volunteers are needed to: escort talent; manage lines; help with book signings; facilitate interactive activities; and more.
The festival is April 20-21, 2024, on the USC campus. Volunteers must be over 18 years of age and be ready to stand or walk for a majority of the shift. Sign up closes April 13, but as with all events, the good assignments go first. Sign up to volunteer here.
What better way for an LMU person to do good work on the USC campus?
