During the week of April 20, 2026, the Lair will be fully operational while the dining team begins preparations for summer construction.
To allow sufficient time to transition out of the space, the Malone C‑Store will close beginning this Thursday, April 23. Services in the Lair will be suspended beginning Sunday, April 26.
On April 26, while the Lair will be closed, other campus dining locations will continue operating during their usual Sunday hours. Additionally, food trucks will be available along Alumni Mall to provide meal options for students throughout the day, and Iggy’s Café will open at 9 a.m.
Summer Dining Services
Beginning April 27, dining services will be offered in a temporary dining tent located on Alumni Mall near the flagpoles. The tent will feature communal‑style seating and several stations previously offered in the Lair. Please note that these stations will operate at reduced capacity, with limited customization.

The following stations will be operational in the summer dining tent:
- Open Stations
- LAX (global flavors)
- Made in Westchester (sandwich)
- True Balance (allergen-free)
- Salad Bar
- Grill
Some of the meal options offered will include:
- Roasted pork loin
- Gluten free pasta with marinara sauce and broccoli
- Turkey bacon club
- Grilled vegetable hummus wrap
- Turkey chili baked potato
- Swedish meatballs in cream sauce served over egg noodles
- Lemon garlic broccoli
- Spinach gratin
- Black bean burgers and regular burgers
- Crispy chicken sandwich

Students who would like a to‑go option may request a container upon entering the tent.
Seating and Pricing
To support seating needs, additional patio furniture will be relocated to Alumni Mall, providing more places for students to dine nearby.
A door price will be implemented for the dining tent based on meal period – please note that an à‑la‑carte format is not operationally feasible. To help keep costs lower, discounted pricing will also be available for students using Lion Dollars.
