Throughout the year, Information Technology Services provides hands-on, instructor-led workshops in a variety of LMU’s standard applications. Beginning in summer 2024, ITS expanded its workshop offerings to provide monthly “First Thursdays” for staff and “First Fridays” for faculty.
These workshops have been carefully developed to help LMU staff, faculty, work-study students, and graduate assistants to increase work effectiveness and productivity by building job skills and gaining greater technological knowledge.
Join the First Thursday for Staff session on Thursday, September 5, from 10 a.m. – noon. Join the First Friday for Faculty session on Friday, September 6, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The workshop will emphasize an introduction to artificial intelligence, including a brief AI history, prompt engineering, the LMU AI website and toolkit, a Copilot demo, and more. Learn more and register here.
