Join the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS), William H. Hannon Library, Student Affairs, and Global-Local Affairs at Wellness Wednesday on Nov. 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for two experiences to celebrate International Education Week: the International Library of People and an International Student-Led Registered Student Organization highlight. Plan to attend early for global chats and free swag!
International Library of People
OISS, the William H. Hannon Library, and Global-Local Affairs are proud to present the International Library of People, as part of our celebrations of International Education Week. During this event, our campus community will have a chance to hear from various international members of the LMU community-students, faculty, scholars, and staff, who will be sharing their stories and journeys to and at LMU. Attendees will be able to select from a variety of storytellers and reserve a time to hear their story. Mock passports will be distributed at the check-in table, and the more stamps you collect (from each international story you hear), the greater the chances to win prizes.
International Student-Led Registered Student Organization Highlight
International students, first generation Americans, and students of multicultural backgrounds are an important part of LMU’s commitment to international education and exchange, allowing all lions to expand their global and cultural knowledge right here on campus. Join Student Affairs and OISS in celebrating and highlighting international student-led Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) during International Education Week. Get to know more about our RSO’s by joining us as they table at Wellness Wednesday on Alumni Mall from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
