As members of the LMU community who manage student records information and/or act in the students’ educational interest, we are required to regularly demonstrate our knowledge and understanding of FERPA and its requirements and to remain mindful of what it means to keep student education records confidential. One of the demonstrable ways we do so is by continuing education.
On Friday, Aug. 20, you will receive an email containing a link to an online FERPA course, published by EverFi. The course is designed to take 30 minutes or less to complete. Instructions on how to access the online course will be contained within the email.
