STUDENT EMPLOYMENT SERVICES | As of this summer, Workday has replaced LionJobs and SEA as the official source of campus employment. Log in to workday.lmu.edu and begin searching and applying to on-campus jobs now! Fall hiring of student employees began Aug. 1.
How to Apply to Campus Jobs
- From the Workday dashboard, click the “Career” icon and select “Find Student Jobs.” You’ll be able to view all active job openings, and click each title to see further details. You can also filter jobs by work study/non-work study, primary location of job, and more. For step-by-step instructions, refer to the Student Career Site Apply reference guide.
- Once you find a job of interest, click “Apply” on the respective Job Details page. You can then upload your resume via the Quick Apply page (which auto-populates your information in the application fields) or you can choose to manually fill in your information and upload your resume at the end of the application process. You will also have the opportunity to upload additional documents, such as a cover letter. Once you are satisfied with your application, click “Submit.”
Onboarding
Once you are hired for an on-campus job, you will receive a notification in your Workday Inbox to complete Onboarding tasks. ALL tasks are required in order to start your employment, and include: personal information, I-9 form completion, payment elections (direct deposit enrollment), and more.
You will be prompted to complete each task individually, but you can also follow the step-by-step instructions in the Student Onboarding reference guide.
NOTE: Both new and continuing student employees must complete an I-9 form in Workday. Students begin the I-9 process as an Onboarding task, and must also present identification to SES. Please visit lmu.edu/ses for detailed instructions.
