As LMU continues to safeguard the community against hackers, phishing, and spam, the use of Duo will be expanded to Microsoft 365 for mobile email programs and email applications. This means that the LMU community will need to login with Duo when they access email from off campus from whatever program is being used (mail app on an iPhone or Android, Outlook desktop application, etc.).
This change will take place in the coming weeks and should be a seamless transition as it will use the same Duo system the LMU community has already been using. Further communication is forthcoming once ITS has determined a firm rollout date. Once this change occurs, users will be asked to re-login to their LMU Microsoft account with Duo.
