Coming fall 2023, Disability Support Services (DSS) will offer a peer mentoring program for incoming first-year and transfer students who are registered with DSS.
Preparing to R.O.A.R (Resourceful, Optimistic, Authentic, Receptive) peer mentoring program’s purpose is to match new LMU DSS students with a current LMU DSS student. Peer mentors will assist their mentee with transitioning into life at LMU and support academic and student success.
To help spread the word about this great student involvement opportunity, please encourage students to visit the DSS table at Wellness Wednesday on April 19 or April 26 between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. DSS staff will be available to provide additional information and answer their questions.
