The Lair, LMU’s main dining facility, is being transformed into a brighter, more modern and more flexible space, with new food stations, refreshed interiors, and expanded areas for dining and gathering. We expect to welcome the LMU community into the new Lair in October 2026. Designed with student feedback in mind, the reimagined Lair will offer an elevated dining experience and an inviting new place for our community to eat, connect, and gather. Until the Lair opens in October, Roski Dining Hall in University Hall will serve as the temporary home of LMU’s new All-You-Care-to-Eat Dining model. Service begins Wednesday, Aug. 26, with a variety of familiar favorites, rotating specials, and allergen friendly-options.
Shuttle Service to Roski
An ADA-accessible complimentary shuttle service will run between Palm North and University Hall, providing convenient access for those on the east side of campus near the first-year residential area. Shuttle service will operate from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Fridays, and 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekends.
Food Options
Roski Dining Hall will offer many of the favorites students enjoy at the Lair, including home-style meals with global flavors, fresh sandwiches, pizza, popular grill selections, a granary station featuring muffins and cereals, a salad bar, and acai. Throughout the week, students can also look forward to rotating pop-up stations featuring specialty dishes and limited-time culinary offerings. As always, allergen-friendly options will be available.
Meal Plans and Pricing
For those without a meal plan, dining at both Roski and the future Lair will offer a convenient door pricing by meal period, which will grant the diner access to the full array of foods available under the same all-you-care-to-eat model offered under the meal plan. Door prices will be $14 for breakfast, $16 for lunch, and $16.50 for dinner.
Dining at Roski
Roski will offer students access to a variety of dining options while the new Lair is completed, complemented by additional dining opportunities across campus designed to provide flexibility and choice. LMU Hospitality appreciates the community’s patience and flexibility as we complete this significant investment in the student experience.
Due to the operational constraints of Roski, some stations will operate at reduced capacity and offer limited customization. The Crimson Lion restaurant inside University Hall will remain closed throughout the Lair renovation to support dining operations in Roski. LMU Hospitality will continue to evaluate operations and make adjustments where possible to best meet student demand.
