Each year, the Center for Ignatian Spirituality offers LMU faculty and staff the opportunity to take part in a weekend Ignatian retreat. Rest, silence, and the chance to reflect in an atmosphere of a calm and peaceful setting are important elements of the retreat, along with Ignatian contemplations – guided meditations on Gospel stories that can sometimes illuminate our current lives in surprising and helpful ways.
Faculty and staff of all convictions and faith backgrounds, are warmly welcome, especially those who have never gone on a retreat or who are new to Ignatian spirituality. Partners and spouses are also welcome. The guides for the retreat are Dorian Llywelyn SJ and Kat Brown.
