After more than a year of planning, collaboration, and development, Loyola Marymount University has launched MANE Hub, a new student success customer relationship management platform. MANE stands for Mentoring, Advising, Navigation, and Engagement, reflecting the platform’s focus on strengthening and coordinating student support from enrollment through graduation and beyond.
On July 15, MANE Hub – the platform that will replace LionConnect – opened for initial support team member access. The launch marks a significant milestone in LMU’s commitment to student success and reflects the efforts of a cross-divisional team dedicated to building a more connected, data-informed approach to supporting students.
“MANE Hub is much more than a technology upgrade,” said Maureen Weatherall, Ed.D., vice provost for enrollment management. “It is an investment in creating a more coordinated and student-centered experience that empowers faculty and staff to support students at every stage of their LMU journey.”
Designed to improve key outcomes, including first-to-second year retention, persistence to degree completion, and four-year graduation rates, MANE Hub will provide a comprehensive, 360-degree view of each student’s experience. By bringing together information from across the university, the platform will help faculty and staff better understand student needs, identify opportunities for intervention, and deliver more personalized support.
The platform connects academic progress, advising interactions, engagement data, and other critical touchpoints in a single system, enabling more coordinated support and stronger collaboration across departments. It also creates a seamless transition from new student to continuing student, ensuring that support follows students throughout their academic journey.
While the July 15 rollout focused on transitioning current users whose primary role is professional advising, project leaders are working toward a student-facing launch before the start of the fall 2026 semester. Once fully available, students will have a centralized destination for engagement, communication, and support resources.
MANE Hub is the result of a collaborative effort involving Student Financial Services, Financial Aid, the Registrar’s Office, Student Affairs, Information Technology Services, Student Support and Retention, Enrollment Management Technology, Marketing, Communications, and External Relations, and Orientation, Transitions, and Academic Engagement. Working with stakeholders across LMU’s colleges and schools, the team helped shape the platform’s design and functionality around the needs of students and the professionals who serve them.
Training opportunities, resources, and implementation guidance will be shared with staff in the coming weeks. These sessions will help users become familiar with MANE Hub’s capabilities and ensure a smooth transition ahead of the student launch this fall.
With its emphasis on holistic support, coordinated care, and data-informed decision-making, MANE Hub represents an important next step in LMU’s student success strategy, positioning the university to strengthen retention, increase graduation rates, and foster lifelong connections with students and alumni.
