
The Office for International Students and Scholars has partnered with several campus departments to host Global Citizen Day at Wellness Wednesday on March 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Departments and organizations involved in international education will showcase opportunities to explore ways of engaging with international and intercultural education and exchange. Global Citizen Day is an important representation of LMU’s commitment to developing engaged global citizens creating the world in which we want to live, not limited to our own borders.
The departments and organizations helping to make this event possible include: Global-Local Initiatives, Study Abroad, the Pam Rector Center for Service and Action, Campus Ministry, Office of National and International Fellowships, Modern Languages, the Global Policy Institute, Ethnic and Intercultural Services, and many of the cultural student organizations on campus.
Students are invited fill their Global Citizen Day passports and earn Wellness Wednesday bucks by visiting tables to learn about opportunities available to them on campus.
