As part of an ongoing commitment to improve reliability, enhance system performance, and support future innovation, Loyola Marymount University’s Information Technology Services is modernizing the technology infrastructure supporting Banner and all ancillary dependent systems. By modernizing the infrastructure, we’re building a stronger, more adaptable foundation for LMU’s academic and administrative services.
Banner and its related systems will be down from 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, through 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025. Any system that receives data from Banner through a data import process will experience delayed syncs, stale data, and temporary disconnections during the maintenance window. There will be no changes to the applications themselves, only the underlying infrastructure.
Here is a complete list of impacted systems. Any system not included in this list will continue to be available and useable during the maintenance window.
