ACADEMIC AFFAIRS | Since our ACE Internationalization Laboratory (ACE Lab) relaunch in September, the Steering Committee and five working groups have been diligently collecting data and compiling a preliminary report to review LMU’s internationalization efforts. The members of the Steering Committee are pleased to share our progress and the preliminary report with the LMU Community.
As part of our continued efforts to solicit further input from a broader range of constituents, we are inviting the LMU community to review the report and share their feedback either by attending a virtual listening session or via an online form that can be found on the Global-Local Initiatives ACE Lab website.
The listening sessions will be held at the beginning of spring semester on Fridays from 1-2:30 p.m. on the following dates designated for various stakeholder groups:
- January 22 | Faculty Session | Register
- January 29 | Staff Session | Register
- February 5 | Student Session | Register
- February 12 | Community Members Session | Register
After all community feedback is collected, the ACE Lab members will incorporate the contributions into the final report to develop a prioritized set of recommendations that will provide connections between the new findings and previous internationalization reports, offer benchmarking against comparator schools, and assess our progress against previous institutional goals.
We hope you will mark your calendars in spring to join us in an intentional conversation to reimagine the possibilities for global engagement at LMU. Together, we can translate our “global imaginations” into an actionable strategic plan for comprehensive internationalization.
As this is an IRB-approved study, all participants will be asked to sign an Informed Consent Form and review the Experimental Subjects Bill of Rights prior to participation that will be emailed to you based on your registration for a specific session.
