screen-shot-2016-11-23-at-11-06-27-amRing in the holiday season with the Loyola Marymount University choruses at gala Christmas concerts on Thursday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 10, in the Sacred Heart Chapel.

The concerts – a more than 50-year-old LMU holiday tradition – will feature the Consort Singers, Women’s Chorus and Concert Choir performing seasonal favorites as well as Cecilia McDowall’s “A Winter’s Night,” Stephen Paulus’s “Canticum novum,” and Z. Randall Stroope’s “Hodie!”

Mary C. Breden, M.D.A., director of choral activities, will conduct the two performances. The concerts are presented by the Department of Music.

Tickets cost $15 for Thursday, Dec. 8, and $15-$20 for Saturday, Dec. 10. Discounted rates are available to faculty, seniors and LMU students, who can purchase a $5 ticket for either performance at the door with a student I.D.
