Cappella Romana, the renowned vocal chamber ensemble directed by Alexander Lingas, lecturer in music at the City University of London, will be featured this month at a symposium sponsored by the Huffington Ecumenical Institute at LMU.
The 2014 Huffington Ecumenical Symposium, “From the Rising of the Sun to Its Setting: Chant and Contemporary Liturgical Music, East and West,” will take place Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21-22, 2014 at Loyola Marymount University, 1 LMU Drive, Los Angeles 90045.
The symposium includes lectures, workshops, worship, networking and fellowship in its programming and features: “An Evening with Cappella Romana,” 6:30 p.m. Saturday at LMU’s Sacred Heart Chapel. There is no charge; registration is required.
