Every day new political polls claim to reveal the up-to-the-minute preferences of voters on everything from the presidential race to local ballot measures. What do they all mean?
Find out at Loyola Marymount University on Tuesday, Oct. 23, when experts explain the baffling landscape of political polling: the different polling techniques and strategies; the benefits and pitfalls of those approaches; and what they mean for candidates and voters of the various political persuasions.
Panelists include Susan Pinkus, former director of the Los Angeles Times Poll and a board member of the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research, and Justin Wallin, chief operating officer and chief marketing officer of Probolsky Research, which specializes in public policy research. David W. Stewart, LMU’s President’s Professor of Marketing and Law will moderate the panel.
