Loyola Marymount University’s School of Education is among the top ranked schools in the U.S. News & World Report’s latest listing of graduate schools of education.
LMU placed 131st on the list of more than the 250 schools of education surveyed. There are more than 800 schools of education nationwide. LMU was the fifth-highest ranked Jesuit institution and the 12th-ranked school in California.
“The School of Education is proud to once again be recognized by the U.S. News & World Report,” said Shane P. Martin, dean of the School of Education. “These rankings reflect the commitment and dedication of our faculty, staff and students. I know we’ll continue to work hard and move forward in the years to come.”
Other Jesuit institutions included in the rankings were Boston College, Fordham University, Loyola University Chicago and Marquette University.
